What Are We? Where Are We Going?’ is an immaculately constructed work of two dimensional art– this man was a manipulative, misogynist liar. His written work outlining his travels was stepped in fraud and dishonestly, written to make him air in the best light.</p><p>While exorcizing his travels, Gauguin took several very young Tahitian brides (aged about 13 – 14) and <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/art/8011066/Is-it-wrong-to-admire-Paul-Gauguins-art.html" target="_blank">infected them with syphilis</a>. He called his hut <a href="http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/collections/works-in-focus/sculpture/commentaire_id/the-maison-du-jouir-7154.html?tx_commentaire_pi1%5BpidLi%5D=842&tx_commentaire_pi1%5Bfrom%5D=729&cHash=22e7de0e2c" target="_blank">“La Maison du Jouir”</a> (“The House of Orgasm”). </p><p>He was verbally, emotionally and probably physically <a href="http://cphpost.dk/history/the-grumpy-genius-who-grimaced-in-the-company-of-the-danes.html" target="_blank">abusive to his first wife</a>, Mette Gad. They had five children together, all of whom he left behind when he started traveling around the countryside in the 1880s. </p><p>[more <a
